And no, I’m not talking about the Urban Decay collab with Game of Thrones. While I am basically chomping at the bit to get my hands on it, something more exciting (for me) is coming soon.
I started a new project this weekend, and I hope you’ll all like it. I’m trying to keep it under wraps for now until I have a bit more content, but if everything goes according to plan I’ll post more info by the end of the week.
Also, I could use some audience participation. If you’ve ever:
Used online dating, successfully or otherwise
Have dating horror stories
Need advice
Literally anything else related to dating, relationships or sex (including that kink you’ve been too afraid to ask your friends about), and want to be involved in my little project, get in touch! The anonymity of the internet is a wonderful thing, and I have much wisdom to impart.
Girrrrl what you got goin on?! Sounds like a little project from work which should

HA! I saw the first comment and got confused. Anyway…
Yes, we do need to catch up! This isn’t directly related to work but for sure inspired by it. I’m really excited. If you or someone you know has some interesting dating stories, send them my way!

The hubs and I met 15 years ago through online dating when it was in its infancy. I’ll report back and let you know if it’s a success! 😉

HA! At this point I’d call it a success. I remember what those early sites looked like, and it’s a miracle that you met anyone at all.

It was accidental. We met through the message boards section. His wickedly dry and intelligent sense of humor made me stalk him. He lived in Philly. I lived in Portland, OR. I had kids. I never thought we’d date. But we immediately clicked and we’ve been together since. It was a miracle, but probably meant to be…if you believe in that kind of thing.

Damn… that’s a good story. My cousin met her hubs in kind of the same way. They were both illegally downloading music with Napster and got to chatting… 14 years later they’re about to have their second baby and in the process of adopting a third.

D’aw! It’s an honor and a privilege to be a success story. Lots of good company out there.

And like an idiot I swore I read it on Instagram. Or Facebook. Everywhere other than RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF MY FACE.

That’s the problem with sharing posts across social median – we can’t keep track of all the comments! 😁
