Happy New Year internet friends.
The holiday season for me has been filled with fun, travel, and the people I love. Including many children, which means that now I’m quite sick and likely won’t be awake at midnight. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been healthy on NYE in the last decade, and that sucks, but at least I’m consistent.
I’m not making any real resolutions for the new year. I never remember or stick to them anyway so there’s no point. I am thinking about a few areas of my life that can be improved next year; rather than jumping on the low or no-buy bandwagon, I’d like to spend more time using and enjoying the things I already own. This doesn’t just apply to makeup but really all areas of my life. I’d also like to make some efforts with regard to my general mental and physical health. I’m not just talking about losing weight or eating better, but also lowering stress, finding ways to maximize my limited energy resources, and things like that. I have a planner. I’m going to figure out how to use it in a way that makes sense for me.
I’m starting to feel a little better so I’ll be back blogging regularly soon. I’m even planning posts for January, can you believe it?
Do you have any resolutions for 2019?
Yay for getting better! I’m terrible at resolutions too. Never bothered to make them, because I know that by week two, I’ve forgotten all about them. And if I wrote them down, by that time I’ve lost the note, too! But hey, happy 2019 anyway! 😀

I can’t even keep track of important papers like wedding invitations and coupons, much less a paper with my resolutions. Much better to just accept my flaws and move on.
Happy New Year to you as well!
