This is a K-beauty mask I’ve been using for the last few months. In my empties post I talked about a Julep sleep mask and my initial hesitation to put something heavy on my face overnight, and that hesitation applied to this mask as well. My skin isn’t sensitive, but there are some things it doesn’t like, and having junk on my face overnight is one of those things.
Pros: I really like the way this cream feels. It’s thick and luxurious, and because it’s a cream product it won’t dry out like my clay masks. The packaging is high quality but minimal, like most K-beauty products, and you get a lot of product for your money. When I wash it off in the morning my face feels so much softer and less dehydrated. It also hasn’t made me break out and doesn’t feel heavy on my face while I’m sleeping. It’s easy to acquire through Amazon and some of the K-beauty sites I frequent (like YesStyle or Peach and Lily), which is definitely a pro when we’re talking about products from companies in Asia.
Cons: As I sit on my computer with this stuff on my face, I can’t actually think of any. It did burn a tiny bit when I put it on top of a pimple, but that’s the only thing I can think to complain about.
Overall I like this mask and will likely repurchase it when this one runs out five years from now.
